Our Spring 2020 Bursary Winners announced.

Our Spring 2020 Bursary Winners!

We are so excited to be able to announce – at last – the names of our Spring 2020 Bursary winners.

Since the bursary opened we received a huge amount of applications, but sadly we could only put 8 forward through to the final stage. The standard of work this year was exceptional which made the shortlisting extremely difficult. We’d like to thank everyone who entered and encourage them to keep applying.

We’d also like to thank everyone that took the time to vote! Over the last two weeks we’ve received a record number of people voting for their favourite pieces – nearly 2000 of you!

Our Spring 2020 Bursary Winners

Tessa Box received the most amount of votes for her beautiful patchwork pieces. Congratulations Tessa, on being our overall winner. Tessa will receive a full bursary, funded by the School of Stitched Textiles to study Patchwork and Quilting starting in May.

Nade Simmons and Daniel Jonnason received the second highest number of votes and have both secured a funded place on our accredited courses.  Nade applied to study Hand Embroidery by submitting two original pieces.

Daniel has also applied to study Hand Embroidery and is our first man to win a bursary. What a fantastic achievement.

Thanks again to everyone who entered and voted, and a huge congratulations to all of our finalists and winners. Remember to follow us on Facebook and Instagram to track the progress of all of our students.
